Sahan has a wealth of industry experience over 12 years in the field of Information technology. During his career as a network engineer he successfully closed transformational projects covering diversified networking technologies. Sahan is an enthusiastic personal who has the passion to drive new initiatives.
Subsequently Sahan decided to pursue his career in business development. In performing his role, he managed strategic planning, partner alliances, sales funnels, budgets whilst leading highly skilled teams. Over the years Sahan has also managed product vendors such as Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, CA, Ruckus, Elitecore, MVI, Radware and many other reputed brands. He completed his tenure at Millennium Information Technologies in 2017 as a senior manager performing the role of technology advancement.
Sahan has a Bachelor of Science honorable degree in electronics & telecommunications from University of Moratuwa with a first class. Further he completed his master’s in business administration from Cardiff Metropolitan university in Wales of United Kingdom. He also has a diploma in general psychology and is also certified in ITIL.
Sudeera is a resourceful individual with a wealthy 12 years of industry experience in both Sri Lankan and overseas markets. He has experience in running projects at various capacities and delivering network services for both local and international clients.
He has achieved Cisco’s highest level of Expertise CCIE (41470) and is marked in the industry as a reliable and trustworthy professional. He has worked as a Network Architect delivering large scale complex projects and has exposure to Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Arista, Mellanox, Radware, A10, F5 technology partners.
During his last tenure at London Stock Exchange Group Business Services Limited, Sudeera has managed the offshore Network Operations and Projects team comprising of 20 members delivering network services to London Stock Exchange, London Clearing House, Turquoise, Oslo Stock Exchange, FTSE, Borsa Italiana Exchange, MillenniumIT, National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Sudeera’s current interest and research point in Networking is the programmability of networks to deliver efficient network services which will benefit an organization internally to make decisions and deliver better service to clients.
